Hello friends from Liz Marie! I bet your coffee’s still hot and you’re so ready to continue this tour! I know you just came from one amazing tour from Liz so I’m so excited to be joining Jen’s Annual Housewalk this year and show your our space! Each year I enjoy walking through some of my favorite bloggers homes during Christmas. It’s such a magical time and I love sharing how my family and I celebrate and decorate! So come on in, and I’ll show your few spots of our Christmas home this year….
Entry/Living/Dining Room
These three spots in our home are all combined. So it’s just one big room when your first walk in. In our front room I decorated the entry wall with garland and oversized pinecones that hang from wide buffalo check ribbon.
To the left is our formal living room and dining room. This year I decided to go with a cozy Christmas Cabin feel for our tree and decor. You can get all the detail on the tree here.
I used different textures in a neutral color palette to bring the entire look together.
The sofa is full of black and white pillows and soft blankets for cold those colder nights. Even though I have a faux fireplace, I love the way our stockings hang from the mantel! I love how the winter prints help set the mood. I joke with my hubby that as soon as I put it up, I felt the room drop about 10 degrees.
The stockings are hung with simple nails and covered with more flocked garland. I used letters from the dollar bin at Michaels to help me label each one of the stockings.
The cozy cabin feel continues into our dining room. I collected these trees from my local craft store and lined them up for a forest like centerpiece. I even perched pine cones upright and attached a bow and bells to them. A simple craft you can complete this season too!
You can find this DIY banner how to here.
Before you turn into the hallway you run into this adorable fresh tree from Joss and Main. It’s actually my FIRST real tree! I got these olive buckets from a vintage market this year and I KNEW I had to sit these beauties in them. Look out for the other one below!
Down the hallway my signs have just a little Christmas on them :0) and our chalkboard has a chalk tree with stockings from years past.
Family Room
Around the corner is our family room.
Our family room is decorated in mostly whites and silvers for the holidays. Our flocked tree takes center stage. This is where Christmas happens each year, where gifts are stacked up the night before Christmas and we all layout on the sofa and watch each other every Christmas morning. I think that’s why it’s my favorite room in our entire home. It’s a room that holds so many happy Christmas memories!
Most of the ornaments on this tree are from Homegoods and Target. The large paper stars are from Target and the striped ribbon is from Kirklands!
Master
Another decorated part of our home is our master bedroom. We have a pretty big room so we are able to have a nice seating area and even a small pencil tree in the corner to make things festive in there.
Here is the other fresh tree that I purchased from Joss and Main! I love it so much. No decor needed in my opinion. I’m also considering getting another 3ft one since they are 30% off plus free shipping today only!!!
I would love for you to stick around Just Destiny this Christmas! I have so many diy gifts ideas and decor ideas for you to try this season! Plus more of my Christmas home!

Just found your blog and I love it. Your house is beautiful and I am finding lots of inspiration from your decorating! Looking forward to looking around on here!
Everything is so beautiful. I am especially drawn to the photos on the mantle. Are they your own photos? Are they on canvas? I love the one on the far right.
Where did you buy your beautiful flocked tree?
Home Decorators :0)

Where can i find the tutorial on the buffalo check Garland? My granddaughter has her first place and wants to decorate her tree with that.
