How to Make a Chocolate Sour Cream Frosting
- Gather all your ingredients. You will need high quality chocolate, sour cream, butter, vanilla and powdered sugar.
- Melt the chocolate chips with the butter in a stainless steel bowl over simmering hot water.
- Remove the bowl using a dish towel or oven mitt. Then add the sour cream, vanilla and salt. Stir until all ingredients are mixed together.
- Using a hand or stand mixer slowly stir in powdered sugar. Frosting should have a smooth consistency.
