Dirty Soda Bar Setup + Printables
If there’s one thing I want you to do this summer, just ONE THING. I want you to please do yourself a favor and set up a dirty soda bar. You’ll thank me later.
Trending or not if you haven’t hosted a Dirty Soda Bar yet this is your sign! We just set one up for my son’s high school graduation party and it was a big hit friends. Why? Well because it’s interactive, totally customizable, and lets everyone play soda mixologist for the day.

So, What Exactly is a Dirty Soda Bar?
It’s an at home DIY drink station inspired by all the iconic soda shops around the US like SWIG! Basically a regular fountain sodas gets pumped with flavored syrups, fruit, cream, and any extra special garnishes you can think of! Think of it as like non-alcoholic version of a cocktail bar or like a mocktail bar with a nostalgic vibe. Perfect for non drinkers like me and of course for teens and kids.

Dirty Soda Bar Ideas for Other Parties

Dirty Soda Printables
To help you create a beautiful and organized station, I designed a Dirty Soda Bar Printable Sign that includes:
- 2 Fun Styles ( one with visuals and one with words only)
- 4 Modern Colorways ( all the colors I would use at my own party)
- 100% Customizable in Canva. Change the font, pictures and even recipes!
This is completely downloadable and will be sent to you so you can print it off at your own print shop. The one pictured below for the party is printed on a 20×30 board print at my local Walgreens and was printed the same day for under $15! Can’t beat that price!
This bar is such a hit with teens and adults and it’s a great conversation starter too. Everyone was so excited to make and mix their own drinks. I can’t wait to see how you set up your version! Be sure to tag me @justdestinymag on Instagram or Pinterest so I can celebrate with you!

Dirty Soda Bar FAQ
I prefer using cans for this reason. Last time I used the mini soda can but average size cans will work just as well and are actually cheaper than mini sometimes. I get 2-3 cans per guests! So 50 guests I’m getting about 10-12 packs of soda because people will drink multiple.
You can use heavy whipping cream or even flavored coffee creamer. Coffee Mate has a Dirty Dr.Pepper creamer every summer and its DIVINE!!!! All you need is a Dr. Pepper and the creamer for that one!
I would start with 2-3 different ones! You can easily make recipes to copy and paste onto our printable menu using the flavors you have!
Great question! These recipes are more of a guide than an exact recipe. Your guests are really having fun adding flavors and testing and trying things out. I would always start with 1 pump of flavor an add as you go?
I would stick to 2-3 types of soda and 2-3 types of syrup. This not only keeps things simple but more affordable. But remember large parties equals more people so think about your guest list as well. So even if you have less options you’ll still need enough to make drinks for however many guests come. You can also alway get off brand soda names!
