Last week I discovered some adorable letters at Michaels that are apart of the newest line Alphabet Soup by Make Market™ . At first I was a little overwhelmed because all of the wonderful choices. But then after about 2.5 seconds I zoomed in on some beauties and used them to do a little passive aggressive decorating.
You see, my kids have a little problem with following directions. So I figured I could get the message across by putting the message on the wall for them to read. Every. Single. Day. Perfect for this month’s Makers challenge! Personalization. It should really read HANGITUPANDPUTITAWAY:) But I thought that might be a little to much. haha!
I used some command strips on the back ( love these) and placed them up by firmly pressing them against the wall. It was really easy. I love using the strips so I don’t put to many holes in the wall. Lord knows I love to put holes in the wall. haha!
I love the look of these letter so much. One, it’s wood which is LIFE. Nothing better than a good wooden letter!
Two, I like the double outline of them. It makes it look a bit more substantial. Plus they come in all caps.
They had so many letters friends. Acrylic, Metal , Chalkboard are some of my favorites!
Because you know we do actually LIVE in our house here is the not so pretty side. But guess what! The backpacks are hung. So that’s awesome!
Never mind my purse and all the shoes. That’s just how we do. haha!

Haha, love it!
Destiny,
I love the shiplap in your mudroom. My mudroom is big enough, but doesn’t have a door like yours where you can close it off. The door would be a really nice addition where I could close it off from the rest of the house. I love the letters and the message. I’m always so excited to see the Michael’s challenges and what you will come up with. It is like a dream of mine for one day to be a participant.
