Start with a Great Base for Your Red Christmas Door Decoration

My favorite find for our front door area is this vinyl black and white checkered mat! I love how it mimics that pretty London style that you see all over Pinterest without the cost or commitment. This one fit perfectly on our porch and is the perfect back drop to everything!

Choose a Christmas Door Mat

Christmas is the perfect time to showcase your style and spirit right from your doorstep with a Christmas door mat. Not only does it welcome guests, but it also serves as a functional piece to keep your home clean. Studio McGee sent us this cute door mat that you can shop below ( or similar ones) and it’s the perfect mix of whimsy and simple! Not to much going on which I love.

Add Bows to your planters

Adding bows to your planters is an easy and affordable way to infuse a touch of holiday spirit into your home’s exterior or interior decor. Choose ribbons in your colors! I love these red velvet ones from HomeGoods but I also think a green satin, plaid or other patterns would be great for bow that stand out. Consider the size of your planters and the overall scale of your decorations when deciding on the bow size; larger planters may look best with bigger, more dramatic bows. Secure the bows around the planter itself or incorporate them into the plant if that works better. Hang a wreath

Hang A Wreath

The most classic holiday decoration! The WREATH!!! Did you know that the wreath is a symbol of eternal life and growth? That’s why so many of us make it apart of our home decor every year. Being that it’s Christmas which represents Christ our enteral Savior who represents enteral life for us all, a wreath is so appropriate! This one gifted from Studio McGee looks just like fresh greenery but is faux. Along with the cedar along the sides of the door. It all ties in so beautifully together. I’m so thankful for high quality greenery because fresh greenery has a hard time surviving our very warm, borderline HOT winters here in Phoenix. To hang, use a wreath hanger, suction cup hooks for windows, or command strips for a damage-free option, ensuring it’s securely in place to enjoy throughout the season.

I hope these red Christmas door decoration ideas help you get into the Christmas spirt this year! You can shop all our finds below or very similar items!
