Welcome to the Christmas Blog Hop! Four days of crafts recipes and printables! Today I’m sharing a DIY EYLELASH YARN CHRISTMAS TREE!
So this is one of those projects I was super excited about while I was creating it! I originally thought I was the only one out there who had thought of it BUT none the less Martha and her team beat me too it:0)
You can get the polka dot tree here!
Still, I wanted to share with you because when it comes to crafting for the home, I like to keep things as EASY as possible and this my friends is one of those projects that you will love. You can easily craft up 7-8 of these trees in about 45 minutes. Invite your girlfriends over and you can get a little assembly line of them going! Perfect for parties and other holiday décor.
Your going to need a few things…
Eyelash Yarn (mine was from the Martha Stewart Line)
Cardboard Trees in various sizes (Michaels)
Glue Tape (Elmer’s)
First take your glue tape and attach it to the cardboard tree and trim it as necessary. Then begin wrapping the yarn around the top of the tree. I started by attaching to the yarn to the glue strip, wrapping up a little bit and then making my way back down.
Once you reached then end cut a little slit at the bottom of the tree and attach the yarn tightly so that it’s secure!
That’s all folks! Pretty simple right! Now go get your craft on with confidence and smiles!
Are you ready for MORE amazing crafts! Well hop on over to see my other friends!
