Just Destiny Office Shot

Inspiration truly comes from everywhere. I’ve always loved this cute notebook my friend Andrea gave me last year at SNAP. So I decided to blow up that pretty little scene and duplicate it on my wall. With the help of some vinyl decals dots from Walls need Love, I was able to make my little day dream come true……..a DIY gold confetti wall. Shop the updated options below!

DIY Gold Confetti Wall

Walls Need Love Decals

To start my project I ordered 144 (2 in) dots. I was worried that the gold would be too shiny, but it has the perfect tint to it and doesn’t clash at all. They peel off like stickers so it’s super easy to apply! No transferring needed at all!

DIY Confetti Wall-2 copy

To start I laid out my notebook and tried my best to copy it onto the wall. To make a cascading affect I started with a cluster on top and then spaced them apart as they got closer to the bottom. Follow that rule and your really can’t go wrong:0)

  3. hey! love your wall! just saw it on “i am momma”, just wondering how many stickers you needed? was thinking of stealing your style for my daughter’s room by punching circles from vinyl. how many 12×12 sheets do you think I’d need for a similar style wall?

  4. Saw your dresser over at IC. I’ve had a can of BM’s Coral Gables for several months but haven’t used it yet. Love it on your dresser — just the right mix of pink and orange. Love those pulls, too. Creative choice! Your wall with the gold dots is neat also. Seems like a fun room to be in!

  5. I love this!! And I have that notebook! Ah! It’s my favorite. I have the two other ones that go with it – I want to use the color scheme and polka dots to make a jewlery dish. Seriously, they’re so pretty to look at, I almost don’t want to write in them.

  6. Destiny, I featured Infarrantly Creative in my Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop post tomorrow and the prettiest picture she had was of your coral dresser project. Included a link to your site, as well, with the credit. Would love it if you would stop by and add a link to the hop. It goes live tonight at 7:30 EST.

  9. Destiny:
You are a genius! I love coral and used it for my summer vintage glam wedding (Aug. 2012) featuring coral, gold, and ivory. I look forward to setting up our new home and using some of the great ideas you post on your blog. May you continually be blessed with creativity and family bliss!

    Happy blogging,
    Lori

  15. Hi! I absolutley love the wall AND the dresser and I am trying to replicate this for my soon to be born daughter’s nursery. May I ask what paint color you used for the walls?

  16. thanks to this post now i know what to do with my daughters nursery, she is 8 month old and her room is still painted grey and with boring white furniture, I knew i wanted to paint her dresser but I wasn’t sure what color…. I showed my husband the picture of the dresser and he is in love with the idea … we are doing big polka dots on the wall where her crib is.
thank you for such a inspirational work : )
